I did not chose a scripture for August 1st. But, I wanted to record that here, so that, I could keep it all straight and that I could see and remember what order I'm suppose to be on!
I did chose a memory verse for July 15 and wrote it in my spiral index card book. However, July became very overwhelming for me with too much stuff going on that I missed out on making the time to study this scripture and commit it to memory. But I still wanted to post it here anyways.
"Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."
Well....I'm five days behind in posting my 13th Memory Verse. Thank you Lord that I have one to post! This is from my study of Me, Myself and Lies. Lord please let this be TRUE in my life. Amen
Psalm 19:13 (NASB)
Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous sins; Let them not rule over me; Then I will be blameless, And I shall be acquitted of great transgression.
My prayer today! Lord, please help me remain steadfast in memorizing scripture. I want to know YOU and LOVE YOU more! Please help me live out these verses so that you will be glorified. I ask this in Jesus name and believing You for it. Amen. Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. I Corinthians 13: 4-7 (NASB) Kathleen
May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.
1 Thessalonians 3:12-13 (NIV)
This memory verse will be spoken at Karla Emerson and Stephen Pfeister's wedding on May 23, 2009 in College Station, TX.
"Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ."
